The team at Asset Vue is excited to announce some major new features are currently live as part of the 2.14 Asset Vue Inventory product update. Our teams have been hard at work on groundbreaking new functionality, which is now currently available to all Asset Vue Inventory customers.

• Added the ability to add attachments and pictures associated to an asset in the asset’s database
• Automatic placement and database update of an asset’s location when it is detected within a specific rack when moved from another rack
• Enhancements to preview screen to enable adding assets to the rack and contained assets
• Updates to filters and customization in search engine
• Updates to Import/Export features which makes it quick and easy to update the Asset Vue Inventory database
• Prevents assets from being created without required information (serial number, barcode, or third party ID) and eliminates duplicate information already in use by another asset
• Incorporated temperature sensing into RFID tag and application
• Enhanced configuration capabilities for frequency of scans
• Added feature for automating status updates using both handheld RFID and barcode scanners
• Added Collisions Report to identify all collisions in racks by site or portfolio
